This pristine coastal land is slated for the development of a modern beachfront and a new peripheral road. However, indigenous residents and scheduled tribe populations have raised severe concerns regarding the potential environmental and cultural impacts on this fragile coral atoll. They are particularly frustrated by the administration's complete lack of prior consultation, fearing the irreversible destruction of their unique heritage and delicate ecosystem.
