The AIADMK has called for a detailed inquiry into the CAG findings in Puducherry, alleging that several irregularities highlighted by the audit have not been addressed by the DMK-Congress government.   The party insists that the report exposes gaps in financial management and accountability. AIADMK leaders urged immediate action to ensure transparency and proper investigation, stressing that citizens deserve clarity on the alleged lapses in the administration.  

The recent Village Administrative Officer (VAO) recruitment exam in Puducherry witnessed over 40% absenteeism, raising concerns about the selection process. Scheduled for 41 posts under the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, the exam was held on Sunday, but a significant number of candidates failed to appear.
