CBI Raids Nagaland University Dean in Corruption Case
Lumami/Assam/Tripura – July 2025
CBI conducted raids across Lumami, Jorhat, and Agartala targeting Dr. Chitta Ranjan Deb, a senior professor at Nagaland University, over alleged corruption in tender deals. He’s accused of accepting bribes to favour select bidders in scientific equipment contracts. Key documents have been seized. FIR was filed on July 12, and the investigation is ongoing.
