Meghalaya Strengthens Law and Order Across the State
Meghalaya continues to reinforce its law and order framework through police modernization, technology-enabled policing, and enhanced public safety measures. The state is strengthening cybercrime investigation capabilities, upgrading emergency response systems, and promoting community policing to improve crime prevention and citizen security.
Authorities are also intensifying action against organized crime, narcotics trafficking, illegal mining, and other unlawful activities while focusing on women's safety and faster grievance redressal. These initiatives aim to enhance public confidence, improve coordination among law enforcement agencies, and maintain peace and security across Meghalaya.
