CG Cabinet: State Power Firm IPO Gets Nod
The Chhattisgarh government cabinet has given in-principle approval for the Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Limited (CSPTCL) to proceed with an Initial Public Offering (IPO). This strategic move aims to list the state-owned power transmission utility on the stock market. By doing so, the government intends to enhance the company's financial capacity and operational transparency. This step will allow the public to participate by buying shares, effectively opening up the critical energy infrastructure to public ownership.
