భారతదేశ చిత్రపటంలో అనేక ప్రత్యేకతలున్న పట్టణం మదనపల్లె. 114 ఏళ్ల కల ఫలించి ఇప్పుడు జిల్లా కేంద్రంగా మారింది. వాగ్గేయకారుడు అన్నమయ్య పేరుతో ఏర్పడిన జిల్లాకు కొత్త కేంద్రంగా గురువారం నుంచి పాలన మొదలైంది.
