On July 11, multiple tribal organizations in Nagaland held a protest outside the Civil Secretariat in Kohima, voicing concerns over the state’s current job reservation policy.
Protesters argued that the existing quota system does not equitably represent all tribal communities and called for an immediate review and reallocation of reservation percentages. The demonstration reflects growing demands for inclusive governance and fair policy reforms.
