Bihar Strengthens Flood Control and Disaster Management
Bihar has intensified its disaster management efforts with a strong focus on flood control measures across vulnerable northern districts. The state government is strengthening river embankments, improving drainage systems, and deploying advanced early warning technologies to reduce flood-related risks. Coordination between state agencies and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been enhanced for faster rescue and relief operations.
Community awareness programs and evacuation drills are also being conducted in flood-prone regions. These initiatives aim to minimize loss of life and property while building long-term climate resilience in Bihar’s disaster-prone landscape.
