పుంగనూరు నియోజకవర్గంలోని పలు ఆలయాలలో గురువారం తెలుగు సంవత్సరాది ఉగాదిని పురస్కరించుకొని విశేష పూజలు నిర్వహించారు. దేవతామూర్తులను పుష్పాలు, ఆభరణాలతో అలంకరించి భక్తులకు దర్శన భాగ్యం కల్పించారు. మధ్యాహ్నం పంచాంగ శ్రవణం కార్యక్రమం జరుగుతుందని వేద పండితులు తెలిపారు. నిర్వాహకులు తగిన ఏర్పాట్లు చేశారు.
