Gujarat added 6,632 MW of renewable energy capacity between April and August 2025, bringing total installed capacity to 39,275.7 MW.
The expansion is powered by large solar parks, hybrid solar-wind projects, and improved transmission infrastructure.
Authorities emphasize that this growth reinforces Gujarat’s renewable leadership, aids sustainable energy goals, and strengthens grid reliability across the state.
