Focus should be on alternative crops
In Mettavalasa of Bobbili mandal, Agriculture Department JD Haribabu Chowdhury visited the fields and held a meeting with the farmers. He urged farmers to focus on alternative wet crops as rainfall will decrease due to the effect of El Nino. He created awareness on the need for crop protection and crop insurance. Agriculture officials participated in the program.
