Uttarakhand Advances Clean Energy and Green Growth
Uttarakhand continues to strengthen its clean energy and green development agenda in 2026 by promoting renewable energy projects, energy-efficient infrastructure, and sustainable environmental practices. The state is encouraging the adoption of solar power, small hydropower, and eco-friendly technologies to reduce carbon emissions and enhance energy security.
Efforts are also focused on forest conservation, climate resilience, waste management, and sustainable urban and rural development. These initiatives aim to balance economic progress with ecological preservation while supporting India's long-term climate and sustainable development goals.
