WB Ex-Cops: Blood Donation Heroes Saving Lives

Retired West Bengal police officers are leading blood donation movements across districts. Through “Rokto Dan Jibon Dan” campaign, they collected 400+ units in 36 hours. Immediate donors arranged for thalassemia, accident, and surgery patients. College students get awareness on blood donation benefits. Rare blood group database maintained for emergency cases. Tie-ups with government and private hospitals ensure quick help.

Though khaki is gone, service flows in their blood. Every drop they donate saves a precious life in Bengal.
