Community Policing: Police with People Program
Goa Police follows community policing to build public trust. Monthly ‘Police Aapke Dwaar’ meetings happen in villages and wards. Officers drink tea with citizens and listen to local issues. Youth play football with police to remove fear. Senior citizens share concerns directly with PI. Problems like drugs, theft and traffic solved together.
Due to this, crime reporting increased 40% and trust improved. Police also help during Carnival and Shigmo festivals. 180+ community meetings held last year. Goa Police means people-first policing always.
