Flood Rescue: Goa Police Saves Lives During Monsoon
During heavy monsoon rains, Goa Police acts as first responder. Officers use boats and rafts to rescue tourists and locals from flooded areas in Panjim, Margao and Mapusa. They distribute food, water and medicines in relief camps 24x7.
Coordination with SDRF ensures zero casualty. GPS tracking and control rooms monitor rescue missions live. Police also clear fallen trees and restore roads. Special focus on beach tourists and elderly. “Sukh, Shaanti, Suraksha” is motto. Dial 112 for emergency. Goa Police stands strong when rains test Goa’s safety.
