June GST Growth Strengthens Mizoram's Growth Outlook
India's Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections rose 13.9% year-on-year to ₹1.94 lakh crore in June, reflecting sustained economic activity, stronger tax compliance, and healthy business performance across the country. The robust revenue growth is expected to strengthen government finances and support continued investment in development initiatives.
For Mizoram, higher government revenues could translate into increased spending on infrastructure, connectivity, public services, and rural development projects. These investments are expected to improve the business environment, support local industries, and contribute to the state's long-term economic growth.
