Manipur Expands Women and Child Welfare Programs
Manipur continues to strengthen women and child welfare through expanded healthcare, nutrition, education, and social protection initiatives. The state government, in coordination with central welfare schemes, has enhanced maternal and child health services, upgraded Anganwadi centres, and promoted women's empowerment through self-help groups and skill development programmes.
Awareness campaigns focusing on child rights, gender equality, nutrition, and women's safety have also been intensified. These ongoing efforts aim to improve the well-being of women and children, encourage inclusive development, and ensure greater access to essential services across the state.
