UPPCL Cuts Power Bills by 4.43% from July
The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has announced a 4.43% reduction in electricity bills through a negative Fuel and Power Purchase Adjustment Surcharge (FPPAS). Around five lakh consumers will also receive refunds for excess smart meter charges, offering financial relief to households and businesses.
The reduction is expected to lower electricity expenses for commercial establishments, industries, and MSMEs, improving business competitiveness across the state. The move is also likely to support economic activity by reducing operational costs and easing the financial burden on power consumers.
