Punjab Strengthens Women's Empowerment and Welfare
Punjab continues to advance women's empowerment and social welfare through initiatives that promote financial inclusion, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and social security. Government programs support women through self-help groups, skill development, livelihood opportunities, and access to welfare benefits.
Special emphasis has also been placed on maternal and child health, nutrition, girls' education, and measures to enhance safety and legal awareness. By encouraging equal opportunities and inclusive development, Punjab aims to strengthen the socio-economic participation of women while improving the overall well-being of vulnerable communities across the state.
