Himachal Rain Alert: Yellow Warning Issued for 7 Districts
The Meteorological Centre has issued a critical yellow weather alert across seven districts of Himachal Pradesh today, including Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, Solan, Kangra, Sirmaur, and Chamba. Driven by an active Western Disturbance, the region is bracing for heavy rainfall, intense thunderstorms, and destructive gusty winds.
Authorities have cautioned residents and tourists to avoid vulnerable areas, as this disruptive wet spell is predicted to persist until June 20. The sudden shift in weather is expected to significantly drop temperatures while potentially disrupting local transport and daily activities across the beautiful state.
