Massive 1800 Year Old Potato Patch Coral Discovered In Lakshadweep
A remarkable UNDP survey near Kadmat Island, Lakshadweep, identified a colossal Pavona clavus coral formation, an ancient giant estimated at 1,800 years old. Affectionately nicknamed the "Potato Patch" for its distinctive shape, this exceptionally large specimen provides unique insights into centuries of environmental data, illustrating coral resilience over millennia.
