Special NIA Court Pronounces Sentences for Three Convicted in 2018 Terror Case
The Special National Investigation Agency (NIA) Court in Mohali has handed down prison sentences to Zahid Gulzar, Yasir Rafiq Bhat, and Mohammad Idris Shah for their involvement in a 2018 terror conspiracy case.
The trio was convicted earlier in the week for planning acts of violence aimed at destabilizing national security. The sentencing follows a detailed investigation by the NIA into a wider network supporting cross-border terrorism. This verdict marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts to dismantle terror modules operating within the region.
