Ludhiana’s Green Leap: India’s First Hydrogen-Bus Fleet
Ludhiana officially became the first city in North India to transition its entire public transit core to hydrogen fuel cells today. The state government, in partnership with global green-tech firms, flagged off 50 zero-emission buses. This move is projected to slash the city’s carbon footprint by 40% by 2028. CM Mann emphasized that this "Green Corridor" is just the beginning, with Amritsar and Jalandhar next in line.
