Lucknow, Jul 13, 2025 – Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a high-level meeting with the newly formed Economic Advisory Group (EAG) to accelerate Uttar Pradesh’s economic transformation. Key initiatives highlighted include the Uttar Pradesh Employment Mission—focusing on skill development, language training, and global job mapping for youth—as well as the rise of the state as a clean transport and electric vehicle manufacturing hub. The state has also scaled up rural electrification to 15–16 hours daily, increased annual factory registrations from 500 to 4,000, distributed 100,000 solar panels under PM-KUSUM, and set a target to produce 22,000 MW renewable energy by 2027.
