Gujarat Strengthens Women Empowerment Initiatives 2026
Gujarat continues to advance women’s empowerment through initiatives focused on education, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, healthcare, and skill development. The state government is supporting women-led self-help groups (SHGs), promoting access to credit, and encouraging participation in small businesses and startups.
Programs aimed at improving maternal health, girls’ education, digital literacy, and workplace opportunities are helping enhance social and economic inclusion. By strengthening welfare schemes and leadership opportunities, Gujarat aims to empower women as key contributors to sustainable development, family well-being, and the state’s growing economy.
