Assam Strengthens Law and Order and Border Security
Assam has intensified efforts to strengthen law and order and enhance border security in sensitive regions. The state police, along with central agencies, are conducting regular anti-drug operations, cybercrime crackdowns, and surveillance drives to maintain public safety. Special focus is being given to border areas to prevent illegal infiltration and cross-border activities.
Advanced monitoring systems, community policing, and intelligence-led operations are improving overall security. These measures aim to ensure peace, stability, and public confidence while safeguarding Assam’s strategic border regions and internal security framework.
