Rajasthan and Haryana Sign Yamuna Water Project Pact
Rajasthan and Haryana have signed an agreement to implement the long-pending Yamuna Water Project. The ₹34,102-crore infrastructure initiative aims to improve water supply, strengthen irrigation systems, and ensure better water resource management for agricultural and developmental needs across both states.
The project is expected to support agriculture, enhance water security, and promote long-term economic development in Rajasthan and Haryana. Improved irrigation infrastructure and efficient water distribution are likely to increase farm productivity, attract investments, and strengthen regional economic growth.
