Puducherry Leads with e-Buses and Smart ICCC
Puducherry’s urban landscape is undergoing a digital revolution under the Smart City Mission. Central to this transformation is the state-of-the-art Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), designed to monitor and optimize city resources.
In a significant boost to sustainable transportation, a fleet of new electric buses, introduced through the national PM e-Bus Seva initiative, is now operational. These e-Buses offer clean, efficient mobility options, drastically reducing emissions. The ICCC integrates data from various systems, enabling proactive management and positioning Puducherry as a leader in green urban innovation and smart technology.
