Karnataka is accelerating the growth of its food processing and agro-based industries by promoting value addition, modern processing infrastructure, and investment across the agricultural supply chain. The state is supporting food parks, cold storage facilities, warehousing, and agro-processing clusters to reduce post-harvest losses and improve farmers' incomes.

Policies encouraging micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), food exports, and technology adoption are strengthening the sector's competitiveness.
