Kaladan Transit Project Advances Regional Connectivity
The Kaladan Multi-Modal Transit Transport Project is a major infrastructure initiative aimed at improving connectivity between India and Myanmar while enhancing access to Mizoram. The project integrates sea, river, and road transportation to create an efficient trade corridor linking the northeastern region with international markets.
Recent progress in construction and operational planning has brought the project closer to completion, promising faster movement of goods and reduced transportation costs.
