Revolutionizing Transit: The ₹20,667 Crore Dholera Rail Link
Gujarat is set to become a global logistics powerhouse following the Union Cabinet’s approval of the Ahmedabad (Sarkhej)-Dholera semi-high-speed rail project. This 134 km double-line project will connect the Ahmedabad metropolis to the Greenfield Industrial Smart City and the upcoming Dholera International Airport. Designed under the PM Gati Shakti plan, it promises to slash travel times and boost regional employment for over 5 lakh people across 284 villages, solidifying Gujarat’s status as India’s manufacturing heart.
