    Born on January 2, 1968, in Bihar, Deoranjan Kumar Singh’s path to the civil services was paved with academic rigor. Holding a B.Sc. (Physics) and M.Sc.     • Infrastructure & Urban Development: His time as Municipal Commissioner of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation and his roles in the Bhubaneswar Development Authority saw him lead significant urban transformation projects, setting the stage for the city’s modernization.

    • Industrial Oversight: His tenure in the Steel & Mines Department was pivotal in managing the state’s mineral resources, balancing industrial growth with regulatory oversight.
