TN Cops Today: Teaching Poor Children With Care
Today TN police officers became teachers for underprivileged children. At railway stations in Chennai, Madurai slums, officers ran free evening classes for dropouts. Books, notebooks, uniforms, and bags distributed to 600+ kids. Many children got re-admitted to government schools with police help
. Basic Tamil, English, math, and discipline taught with love. Police station visits inspired kids to dream of IPS and TNPSC. “Kalvi Ye Selvam” meaning Education is Wealth was the motto. TN khaki today lit the lamp of learning for poor children who need guidance most.
