Odisha Secures ₹67,000 Crore Green Energy Investment
The Odisha government has signed a major investment agreement with ACME Group and Japan's IHI Corporation to develop green hydrogen and green ammonia projects worth ₹67,000 crore. The investment is expected to accelerate clean energy production, strengthen Odisha's position as a renewable energy hub, and attract advanced technologies.
The project is also expected to generate significant employment opportunities, boost industrial growth, and support India's transition towards a sustainable and low-carbon economy.
