Manipur Strengthens Women and Child Welfare Programs
Manipur continues to expand women and child welfare initiatives through programs focused on healthcare, nutrition, education, financial inclusion, and social protection. The state is strengthening maternal and child health services, supporting women-led self-help groups (SHGs), promoting girls' education, and improving access to government welfare schemes.
Efforts are also being made to enhance child nutrition through Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), encourage women's entrepreneurship, and ensure the safety and well-being of women and children. These initiatives aim to promote gender equality, improve quality of life, and support inclusive and sustainable development across Manipur.
