WB Retired Cops: Guardians Of Road Safety Today

Retired WB police officers are now voluntary traffic guardians. They manage school zones and busy junctions during peak hours. Helmet, seat belt, and over-speeding awareness given daily to riders. Drunk driving checkpoints supported with on-duty police. 1000+ students participated in road safety quiz and drawing competitions.

Accident black spots identified and reported to PWD for improvements. Zebra crossing painting drives organized for pedestrian safety. “Safety First” is their motto. Due to their efforts, road accidents are reducing in many areas of Bengal.
