BEST Bus Services Yet to Resume Full Operations
The BEST employees' strike has officially ended, but bus services across Mumbai have not fully returned to normal. Only around two-thirds of the fleet is currently operating, leaving many commuters facing longer waiting times and limited public transport options.
The partial restoration of services continues to affect employee commuting and daily business operations across the city. Companies, retailers, and service providers are experiencing productivity challenges as workers encounter delays reaching workplaces during peak travel hours.
