Karnataka Police contributes to environment through massive tree plantation drives. Officers and families plant saplings on Independence Day and Environment Day. ‘Police Vanadha’
campaign targets schools, highways and station premises. Students join police to learn about climate change. Drip irrigation and maintenance ensure 80% survival rate. Last 3 years, 2 lakh trees planted by police teams. Officers also remove plastic and clean lakes. “Green Khaki, Clean Karnataka” is the slogan.
