Critical Flood Situation Grips Six Districts in Assam
Assam is currently facing a dire flood crisis, with relentless waters impacting over 46,000 residents across six major districts, including Dhemaji, Nalbari, Dibrugarh, Chirang, Lakhimpur, and Biswanath. Dhemaji has emerged as the worst-affected region, struggling under the weight of surging floodwaters. Local authorities and disaster management teams are working tirelessly to provide relief, shelter, and essential supplies to the thousands of displaced citizens.
As river levels continue to remain dangerously high, the state remains on high alert, emphasizing the urgent need for robust infrastructure and coordinated rescue efforts to mitigate further devastation in these vulnerable communities.
