Monsoon Rainfall to Boost Bihar's Kharif Farming
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast widespread rainfall and thunderstorms across Bihar, bringing favorable conditions for the ongoing kharif season. Improved monsoon activity is expected to enhance soil moisture, replenish water resources, and accelerate the sowing of major kharif crops.
The stronger monsoon is likely to increase demand for seeds, fertilizers, farm machinery, and other agricultural inputs while supporting rural businesses and agri-trade. Better crop prospects are expected to strengthen farm incomes and contribute positively to Bihar's agricultural economy.
