The Karnataka government is accelerating its ambitious ₹1.25 lakh crore infrastructure development plan for Bengaluru to transform the city into a more modern, sustainable, and investment-friendly urban hub. The initiative includes major upgrades to transport infrastructure, expansion of civic amenities, and the implementation of the e-Khata system for transparent digital property records.

The comprehensive development plan also promotes sustainable vertical growth, improved urban planning, and better public services to accommodate Bengaluru's rapidly growing population. Officials believe the project will strengthen the city's infrastructure, attract domestic and global investments, generate employment opportunities, and enhance Bengaluru's position as India's leading technology and business destination.
