Nagaland Launches Localized R&D Science Mission
The Nagaland Science Mission (NSM), operating under the Department of Science & Technology, has officially announced a call for multi-disciplinary Research and Development (R&D) proposals. This strategic initiative explicitly targets indigenous Naga scientists, engineers, and researchers, urging them to design innovative, localized science and technology solutions.
By focusing on unique, location-specific challenges faced across the state, the government aims to foster homegrown intellectual talent and community-centric sustainable development. Interested eligible professionals must finalize and submit their project blueprints before the designated deadline on July 31, 2026.
