Early this morning, a massive fire gutted a popular club in Chandigarh’s Sector 26, sending plumes of smoke across the skyline.

While no casualties were reported, twelve fire tenders battled the blaze, which is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit in a nearby generator. The incident has sparked urgent discussions among local residents and the administration regarding fire safety audits for the city’s bustling nightlife hubs.

With temperatures hitting 37°C today, officials are urging businesses to double-check electrical loads to prevent such mishaps.
