CM Mohan Yadav Enforces Strict Action After Dewas Tragedy
Following the tragic explosion at a firecracker factory in Dewas, the death toll rose to five this morning. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited injured workers in Indore, announcing a high-level magisterial inquiry and the arrest of the factory owner under the National Security Act (NSA). The state government has suspended the facility's license and initiated a crackdown on illegal firecracker units. Officials from the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) are currently on-site investigating the cause of the blast.
