Swan Defence and Heavy Industries has signed a ₹4,250 crore agreement with the Gujarat Maritime Board to modernize shipyards and strengthen the state’s ship supply chains.
The initiative aims to enhance Gujarat’s maritime infrastructure, boost local manufacturing capabilities, and ensure efficient ship production.
This move is expected to improve strategic defense readiness and create new opportunities in the maritime sector, positioning Gujarat as a key player in India’s naval and commercial shipbuilding industry.
