Security forces in Manipur halted the return of nearly 100 internally displaced persons (IDPs) attempting to go back to their native village, Dolaithabi, in Imphal East district. Officials cited the move as a "precautionary measure" in light of ongoing tensions and security risks in the area. The incident reflects the persistent unrest in the region, where thousands remain displaced due to ethnic conflict and violence.
