Maharashtra Expands Infrastructure and Transport Network
Maharashtra continues to accelerate infrastructure and transport development through major projects that improve connectivity and support economic growth. Ongoing initiatives include the expansion of the Mumbai Metro, Pune Metro, Nagpur Metro, the Mumbai Coastal Road, the Samruddhi Mahamarg, and the Navi Mumbai International Airport.
The state is also upgrading highways, rail networks, logistics hubs, and public transport systems to facilitate faster movement of people and goods. These developments are expected to attract investment, enhance regional connectivity, create employment opportunities, and strengthen Maharashtra's position as a leading economic powerhouse.
