Noklak Organizes Mass Social Work for Monsoon Safety
In a proactive bid to mitigate monsoon-related hazards, the Deputy Commissioner of Noklak has mandated a district-wide "Mass Social Work" event for July 3, 2026. This collective initiative brings together residents, local government departments, and student bodies to fortify the region against heavy rains.
Participants are tasked with clearing blocked drainage systems and managing overgrown vegetation to prevent flooding and ensure public safety. By fostering community participation and shared responsibility, this critical drive aims to minimize monsoon damages, protect infrastructure, and enhance the overall resilience of the district against the challenges brought by the season.
