Karnataka Police launched ‘Senior Suraksha’ to support elderly living alone. Beat officers visit seniors weekly, check health and daily needs. Emergency contact stickers are placed at homes for quick response.
Police maintain a database linked to 112 for 10-minute response time. During festivals, officers deliver sweets and gifts to reduce loneliness. They also conduct fraud awareness sessions to protect seniors from cyber scams. Families living abroad get regular updates about parents.
