Women Farmers Bill & College Admission Changes Planned
The upcoming Maharashtra monsoon session will see a strong focus on social reform. The state government announced plans to officially table the 'Women Farmers Empowerment Bill' during this session. In a parallel effort toward inclusivity in education, the government is also seriously considering introducing a specific 'single-parent child' category in all college admission forms. These moves signal a committed approach to supporting marginalized groups and simplifying administrative processes for families across the state.
